To remain at the forefront of architectural education worldwide, the Architectural Association (AA) relies on support from individuals, partners and organisations who share its pioneering vision and global values. Contributions, whether one-off donations, sponsorships, regular gifts or volunteered time, enable the realisation of the school's ambition to provide the highest quality of architectural education to the most talented students, regardless of their financial means.
As an educational charity and membership association, the AA receives no government funding. Philanthropic support from individuals and organisations is therefore essential to the institution’s present and future. The AA is committed to ethical fundraising, transparency and professionalism in seeking financial support, and contributions are accepted, managed and disbursed by the Architectural Association Foundation (AAF), an independent charitable trust established in 1989.
The Architectural Association (AA) must keep evolving and developing. This is a continuous process and requires financial support from generous individuals and groups that value its educational and cultural contributions to the architectural field worldwide. Making a one-off or regular donation helps the AA to build the funds required to achieve immediate strategic priorities and plan for the future; making a major donation supports the school in providing a relevant and progressive architectural education of the highest quality to the best students from around the world. Partnering with the AA can raise the profile of your business or organisation, give access to exceptional creative talent and help the school to produce high-quality research and cultural content. However you choose to give support, your contribution will have a transformative impact on the AA for generations to come.

The AA is a growing network that sustains new ideas and initiatives through mutual support. We are committed to expanding this extraordinary community and making the AA accessible to an even wider range of students through robust financial aid. Our growing Scholarships and Bursaries Programmes help the most talented students study at the AA, regardless of their financial means and our Hardship Fund provides a critical safety net to sustain our existing students who may be effected by an increasingly uncertain political and economic climate. Your contribution, however small, will make a significant difference to our students’ experience.
