The Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture is not just a school, it has a wide-ranging public programme of talks and symposia, exhibitions, open seminars and open juries relating to architecture and its many adjacent fields.
The AA’s Public Programme is a longstanding and renowned part of architectural culture that engages international and multi-generational participants, invited guests and audiences. These events are free and open to the public, extending the academic research and activities being conducted in the school to everyone.
Publishing is also a large part of the school, with AA Publications often being connected to exhibitions, symposia and debates happening in the school and across its academic programmes. In addition to AA Publications, an independent publishing arm, the school produces podcasts and student-led publications.
There are other facilities that are publicly accessible, including the bar and restaurant and the architecturally renowned archival collection.
