AA tutors and alumni revealed in shortlist for Kew Gardens treehouse contest

A host of AA tutors and alumni have been shortlisted to design three treehouses at Kew’s Royal Botanical Garden in West London.

Among the shortlisted finalists are current tutor Thomas Randall-Page, former tutors Michael Tonkin and Anna Liu and AA alumnus Nuru Karim of Nudes.

The contest will focus on three trees, each with their own theme:

1. Norway Maple – Celebrating play
2. Pine – Highlighting nature’s architecture and biomimicry
3. Silver Lime – Showcasing the use of sustainable materials and innovative designs
