Rejecting the myth of the sublime city and the cult of the isolated architectural object, the programme turns attention to what truly shapes urban space; from rivers and parks to Victorian geometries, from iconic architectural gestures to the relentless accumulation of the ordinary.
Participants will critically observe and document multiple 'Londons', embracing the city as a site of contradictions rather than coherence. Rather than endorsing the city as it is, this programme treats architectural education as a radical and inclusive practice — one that challenges disciplinary boundaries and engages deeply with the social, political and spatial realities of the contemporary city.
The design units will be announced soon.
The designer tutors for each unit will be announced and at this time biographies will be provided on this page.
