AA Foundation Programme Tutor Sabrina Morreale is set to exhibit the short film, Roman Foraging, at Rocca Pia Castle in Tivoli, Italy. The film is an exploration of the complex relationship between the city of Rome and the Roman countryside – the wild, uncontaminated areas that characterise its (sub)urban environments. Curated by AA First Year Tutor, Michela Falcone, and opening on 4 April, Roman Foraging will be exhibited alongside short films, interviews, photographic archive and maps that explore the rich fabric of life that flourishes in the neglected corners of the city. In doing so, Roman Foraging draws attention to the spaces that nature reclaims and where foragers meet through a shared recognition of spontaneous plants and herbs.
