AA alum Hanna Fastrich will be taking part in a group exhibition, tête-à-tête, at Milan Design Week between 20–26 April 2026. Organised by playinghouse, the show unfolds across two sites, Franco Albini's Villa Pestarini and a refurbished independent space in the Certosa District – each an expression of Milan's distinctive urban and architectural history. tête-à-tête invites viewers to encounter over 40 works by 15 emerging artists and designers, staging conversations between objects and visitors, between two facets of the city's urban history, and the relationship between their past and present.
Founded by AA alum Angela Yang, playinghouse is an artist-first platform based in New York that bridges contemporary art and design, through exhibitions held in different locations and spaces that explore the intersection of the functional, the familiar and the inventive. tête-à-tête will be on display at Villa Pestarini as part of Alcova Milan 2026. Hanna’s work will also be exhibited as part of the AA’s inaugural exhibition at Alcova, Coalescence, which will take place at the Centro Ospedaliero Militare site with works by AA students and alumni on display.
