Emmanuel is Co-Head of the Design and Make programme and Head of Physical Production at Hooke Park. He holds a BSc, Diploma and Master’s degree from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and approaches design as a series of translations between drawings and objects that oscillate between intuitive acts and precise operations. Emmanuel is involved in collaborative practices and research groups including art and architecture practice LiquidFactory; Field Robotics group RAVEN and the experimental architectural practice Sixteen*(makers). Teaching is a critical part of Emmanuel’s practice, with an emphasis on the interrogation of the processes involved in design thinking, investigating the particular interrelationships between the made and the drawn.
