
Saeed Abdul Rahim Saeed is a Sudanese architect. According to the Student Register, Saeed joined the Architectural Association (AA), London, during 1970-71, where he enrolled in the postgraduate Department of Development and Tropical Studies. Saeed joined Pat Wakely’s tutorial group and duly graduated with a postgraduate Diploma in 1971. He appears to have remained in academia and in the 1980s was on the faculty of the College of Architecture at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 1997 he was appointed Professor of Architecture and Building Science in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design, at the University of Bahrain, remaining in the role until 2015. Saeed has also authored a number of important journal articles on sustainable and climate-adaptive architecture, particularly concerning Sudan and the Gulf region,
