Booking Request Form

Hooke Park’s facilities are described here and travel information here.
The facility is available for term-time group bookings by tutors using the request form below.
Booking can be made for visits up to 6 days long within slots running from Saturday to Thursday (Friday is Hooke Park's changeover day).Visits can be shorter than the slot available (eg a 3 day stay within a 6 day slot) – please specify the arrival and departure dates. Longer visits, running over two slots, may be possible by arrangement.

Booking Terms

•The facility is available for term-time group bookings by tutors.

•Bookings need to be submitted at least two weeks prior the visit. Visits cancelled within two weeks prior to the visit will be charged 50% of the booking.

•Charges: Accommodation, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner -vegetarian) and laundry= £20 per person per day applicable to Groups of 10 people or more. Groups of less than 10 people may incur additional charges.

•The AA Accounts Office will automatically deduct full payment from the unit’s budget. It is the tutor’s responsibility to collect payment from students and return it to the unit's budget via Accounts Office.

Information & Rules

•An induction for the facility and H&S is provided at the start of the visit, which describes the terms of use of Hooke Park.

•Tutors are responsible for their students’ activities at Hooke Park at all times, with at least one tutor on campus throughout the visit.

•Tutors are responsible for Risk Assessment of any activities outside of Hooke Park’s existing workshop safety procedures according to AA H&S policy. Risk assessment form & guidance can be found here.

•Please notify staff of risk before arriving at Hooke.

•All visitors must keep to the footpaths and bridleways when walking in the forest. Other activities in the woodland, or use of Hooke Park timber, may be possible by prior arrangement – please contact Hooke Park staff.

•Visitors are responsible for leaving the facility as they found it, and for the planning and cost of the removal/recycling of any materials/artefacts/structures remaining at the end of the visit.
