In his book Artificial Love, Paul Shepheard pursues the idea that machines are architecture. He sets out to show how human history has been driven by technology and that technology is a force of nature - the force of the human presence in the world. A presentation from Shepheard will be followed by a response from the other speakers - Thomas Muirhead, Angus Carlyle, and Paul Davies.
