Outside with Curtain, Clara Dahan

Third year student Clara Dahan’s design proposal for the Shatwell Farm Drawing Museum includes an external curtain that guides visitors from the galleries to the restaurant, and frames outdoor events. In its lightness, peculiarity and simplicity it reflects the curatorial attitude of the client, collector Niall Hobhouse, while also addressing his controversial postulation that ‘architecture, in the end, is nothing but a gesture in landscape design’.
