The AA offers its warm congratulations to alumna Amanda Levete CBE (AADipl 1982) for winning the Jane Drew Prize for women in architecture, and former AA tutor Madelon Vriesendorp (HonAADipl 2017) for receiving the 2018 Ada Louise Huxtable Prize. On this week at the AA: as part of the AA Collections series, architect Mohamed Elshahed charts the history of modern Egypt through objects. Indulge in pure cinema delight with Catherine Deneuve in a Members’ screening of The Umbrellas of Cherbourg or experience a suspenseful metafiction by AA Media Studies tutor Charles Arsène Henry.
