This week explore the shape-shifting nature of architecture – as cultural hybrid, performance and as the subtle indicator of a society in transformation. Continuing this season’s AA Dialogues series, Charlie Koolhaas discusses the impact of technology, media and politics on contemporary culture, and as part of Open Week at the AA, interdisciplinary artist platform Gesamtatelier hosts a studio workshop and performs its immersive exhibition ‘Ithaca: upon every arrival’. Also this week Pier Vittorio Aureli and Martino Tattara of Dogma launch their new book, The Room of One’s Own, and we close with a school-wide Open Jury. Make plans and see what else is on this month by visiting aaschool.ac.uk/whatson.
