Troldtekt Award 2018 

Troldtekt is now inviting design and architecture students to participate in the Troldtekt Award 2018. The most creative and realistic proposal for using Troldtekt acoustic panels wins an award of €5,000.

Who is Troldtekt?

Troldtekt is a Danish company which, since 1935, has produced acoustic panels for ceilings and walls in all types of architecture. Their solutions are sold to multiple markets worldwide. Troldtekt acoustic panels are made from the natural materials wood and cement, and are certified in accordance with the sustainable Cradle to Cradle design concept.

What is the Troldtekt Award?

The Troldtekt Award is a design competition for design and architecture students from all over the world. The competition celebrates innovation among tomorrow’s architects.
The aim of the Troldtekt Award is to encourage students to explore Troldtekt acoustic panels and to find completely new ways of using them. Students from Europe and elsewhere have previously won the competition. Several UK students have also been short-listed.


The Troldekt award is open for entries from 1 October to 14 October 2018.
Participants must submit their projects no later than 4 November 2018.
