Octavian Mihai Gheorghiu

Bio: Octavian graduated with a personal distinction from the AA DRL and now works as an architect and design systems analyst at Foster + Partners within the Specialist Modelling Group. He is a teaching fellow at The Bartlett UCL and a software tutor at the AA DRL.
Giulio Gianni

Bio: Giulio is an Engineer and Architect. After having completed with first class honours an MEng in Civil Engineering at University College London, Giulio undertook an MSc in the AA’s Emergent Technologies and Design (EmTech) where he graduated with distinction. He is currently working as a structural engineering consultant and computational design specialist in the Geometrics group of Price & Myers Consulting Engineers in London focusing on bespoke geometries such as large-scale art installations, sculptural staircases and complex roof structures and canopies.
Maarten Gielen

Bio: Maarten Gielen is among the founding members of Rotor (Brussels). He have taught at TU Delft, Columbia University and curated the 2013 Oslo Architecture Triennale, Behind the Green Door. Rotor curated OMA/ Progress at the Barbican, London, as well as Usus/Usures, the Belgian pavilion at the Venice Biennale of Architecture (2010). In 2012, Rotor developed an online inventory of salvaged building materials around Brussels: Opalis.
Maria Sheherazade Giudici

Bio: Maria Shéhérazade Giudici is the founder of the publishing and educational platform Black Square and the coordinator of the history and theory course at the School of Architecture of the Royal College of Art. She holds a PhD from TU Delft with a thesis on the construction of modern subjectivity through the project of public space. Before joining the AA, she taught at the Berlage Institute and BIArch Barcelona and worked on large-scale urban plans with offices BAU Bucharest, Donis Rotterdam and Dogma Brussels.
Marko Gligorov

Bio: Marko comes from Serbia and currently works with me at Zaha’s as an interior designer. His expertise is in developing workflows between AutoCAD, Rhino and Maya and understanding how to exploit the strengths of each for significant effects on our designs. He has some teaching experience already as a visiting tutor at the Belgrade Architecture University, focusing on the interplay of furniture and architecture, which could be something very interesting for the Media Lab students.
Francisco Gonzalez de Canales

Bio: Francisco González de Canales studied architecture at ETSA Seville, ETSA Barcelona and Harvard University, and worked for Foster + Partners and Rafael Moneo. He is co-director of Canales & Lombardero and has lectured in England, Chile, Mexico, Spain and the US. Among his recent publications are First Works (2009), Experiments with Life Itself (2012), Rafael Moneo: A Theoretical Reflection through the Professional Practice (2013) and Rafael Moneo: Building, Teaching and Writing (2015).
William Thomas Gowland

Bio: Based in London, Will is an architect, maker and digital artist. Working across a wide range of disciplines, his interest in the emerging field of design interactions, explore spatial design and virtual environments through audio-visual performance, physical installations, animation and architectural practice.
Raluca Grada Emandi

Bio: Working as an independent designer and creative consultant in the field of performance art, Raluca Grada-Emandi graduated from the AA Interprofessional Studio and the Royal College of Art, with a previous degree in social psychology. Raluca’s work focuses on bridging materiality with its absence, manipulating distortions across both physical and virtual realities. It has been exhibited in the V&A, Sir John Soane Museum, National Theatre of Iceland and featured in Vogue, Designboom, Arts Thread, i-D magazine.
Friedrich Gräfling

Bio: Friedrich Gräfling acts at the interface of architecture, art and culture. Completed architectural projects include classical residential buildings as well as the implementation of award-winning projects such as „Schloss Wiesen“, „Fachwerkhaus Krombach“ and „Aubin Gallery“. Through the collaboration with leading, international artists, he already organized numerous institutional as well as commercial exhibitions. His own projects have been shown at Interieur Kortijk, Belgium, at the Geidai, Tokyo University of the Arts, the Royal Academy of Arts, London as well as the London Festival of Architecture 2103 amongst others. The same year he finished his architectural studies at the Architectural Association in London with Honours and has been nominated for the 2013 RIBA Silver President`s Medal.
Evan Green

Position:Course Lecturer - Diploma TS4, Technical Studies, AA Undergraduate School
Bio: Evan Green is an Associate and Acoustician at Kahle Acoustics in Brussels. He specialises in acoustics design for performing arts venues and holds Masters degrees in Acoustics from the University of Southampton and Physics from the University of Bath.
