A symposium accompanying an exhibition held at the RIBA on the projects and writings of Hugo Hring. One of the most overlooked architects of the twentieth century, Hring, with his low-level, courtyard estate projects, is credited as one of the originators of 'humane housing'. Critical of early Le Corbusier and Bauhaus designers, he promoted a modernism that was sympathetic to its environment.Speakers: Patrick Hodgkison -Colin St John Wilson -Florian Beigel - A Script for Landscape
