Running time: 78 mins

Winy Maas gives a lecture to mark the AA exhibition MVRDV Town, a collection of models by MVRDV. Touchable, negotiable, rebuildable, the model remains the most effective tool for making architecture understandable. Winy Maas discusses the work of the practice and the role of the models as preliminary datascapes. MVRDV was set up in Rotterdam in 1991 by Winy Maas, Jacob van Rijs and Nathalie de Vries. MVRDV produces designs and studies in the fields of architecture, urbanism and landscape design.
