Ithaca: in studio

Series: Open Week Workshop
Date: Wednesday 7 February 2018
Time: 14:00
Venue: AA Lecture Hall

Gesamtatelier opens its studio and shares their creative process for developing interdisciplinary, collaborative art & design projects. The creative team behind “Ithaca: upon every arrival” invites fine artists, architects, performers, choreographers, fashion, sound and spatial designers to work together during an evening of short lectures, exercises and activities. The aim is to practice the craft of collective brainstorming, composing/designing and workshopping/rehearsing.

Kyriaki Nasioula and Argyris Angeli are two founding members of Gesamtatelier, a London-based platform by/for practitioners and educators from several creative fields who collaborate towards the conception and realisation of interdisciplinary projects, presented in various venues in UK. The team has an open, dynamic structure, which adapts to each project, creating hybrids between their respective practices in the form of installations, performances and multimedia events.
