Barbara Van der Wee has been Associate Professor, Research Group Architectural History and Conservation Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven since 1999. She has specialised in her career in 19th- and 20th-century heritage, especially in buildings which are protected as ‘monuments’.
