Forthcoming Exhibition To mark the centenary of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian independence, this exhibition presents architecture of the Baltic states, exploring the material, infrastructural and cultural connections that have persevered despite the political borders and conflict lines laid throughout the region. The Search Committee is pleased to announce that the following candidates have been invited to stand for election as AA Director:

PIPPO CIORRA: Senior Curator of MAXXI Architettura in Rome, architect, critic and professor

EVA FRANCH I GILABERT: Chief Curator & Executive Director of Storefront for Art & Architecture in New York, architect, curator and educator

ROBERT MULL: Head of Architecture and Design at the University of Brighton, architect, educator, urbanist and activist

The AA sends its best wishes to resident AA photographer and photo librarian Valerie Bennett, who is leaving the school to devote more time to her work as a photographer. In her 35 years at the AA, she established the online photolibrary archives and documented all aspects of AA Life – from the activities of Hooke Park, to portraits of esteemed lecturers, to the day-to-day running of the school. / Read more on AA Conversations
