AA Archives Online Catalogue Launched

The AA Archives is pleased to announce the launch of its online catalogue. This marks the first stage of a long-term project which aims to provide access to the AA’s historically significant collections of archival material, including architectural drawings, student projects, teaching materials and other documentation related to the intellectual and social history of architectural education.

The initial batch of catalogue records contain descriptions of the core governance and administrative records of the School and Association, dating from 1847 onwards, together with an initial sample of holdings of historic and contemporary student portfolios, graphic materials, models, and digital files.

Currently only a small percentage of the AA Archives’ holdings are entered on the online catalogue however further descriptions will be added on a daily basis as cataloguing progresses.
