The Four Realms of Interiority
Tutors: Natasha Sandmeier, Monia De Marchi

This project explores architecture and the city as an interior project. The fiction through which it is told repositions our understanding of the space of urban space as an interior experience extending from the room to the street to the city. The inhabitant of this room experiences the city from the inside out, without ever leaving the room. This happens across four different 'Realms of Interiority' that all describe the city as an inner state which is created as it is being experienced. These four Realms of Interiority are: 1. The City Imagined from the Room 2. The City in the Room 3. The Room in the City 4. The Empire of Rooms and Cities.
