Call for Nominations
AA Council Election 2010/11 The Office of the Company Secretary is currently accepting nominations to the ballot for the 2010/11 Election of Officers and Ordinary Members of Council. The Council of the Architectural Association, Inc. act as directors and trustees of the Charitable Company, which includes the Architectural Association School of Architecture. Deadline for nominations to the 2010/11 ballot via email and post: 5.00, 23 March. All current members of the Architectural Association, including students, are eligible for nomination to Council. Eligible members may nominate themselves or others to the ballot. Members wishing to stand for President or Honorary Office must have served at least one year on Council in any previous year, and must have their nominations seconded by two current members of Council. All nominations for Ordinary Membership, President, or Honorary Office must be submitted in writing to the Office of the Company Secretary. Nominations should also include the names of two members who would be willing to support the nomination. Current academic and administrative staff and other members engaged in paid work on behalf of the Architectural Association, Inc. or its subsidiary are not eligible for nomination to Council in any capacity, although they are eligible to vote in the Election of Officers and Ordinary Members of Council. A complete list of current nominations to the ballot and copies of the Articles and By-Laws of the Architectural Association, Inc. are available from the Office of the Company Secretary.
